Error con el vsphere client :Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation

En algunos casos trabajando sobre el vsphere client y queremos acceder a la consola de una máquina virtual nos aparece una ventana emergente con el mensaje:
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation
Este error se produce por incompatibilidades de versión con ciertos Microsoft .Net Framework. Debido a que el vsphere client se apoya en Microsoft .Net Framework para trabajar vamos a tener que el vsphere client pero primero se recomienda realizar la instalación del último service pack de .Net Framework disponible en el sitio web de Microsoft.
